Technical Open Field Day IRTA Lleida, 20th October 2016

The Open Day Technical Meeting (19th in Catalan language, 20th October in Spanish language) on fruit production is the most important meeting of fruit industry in Spain an also in the South of Europe accounting more than 1600 people in two days. The objective is to provide precise information about different aspects of technology of crop production an also to expose the experience of some other producing country through an invited speaker.
Experiences and results with prediction tools were presented to support the thinning decision on apple trees: Applegenie project based on gene expression, Malusim and AgRadar models based on climate variables and Greene method based on fruitlet growth.
