Publication: "Zwei neue Tafelapfelsorten aus den USA" in Schweizer Zeitschrift für Obst und Weinbau (SZOW)

Two new table apple varieties from the USA.
The desire of American apple producers for a new, successful apple variety, that can replace the no longer very trendy "Red Delicious" as well as the difficult to grow "Honeycrisp" is big. "WA38-Cosmic Crisp™" and "Minneiska-SweeTango®" seem to be two promising new varieties with added value for producers, marketers and consumers in the USA. How fast these two varieties will establish themselves in Europe and Switzerland, depends, among other things, on experience ("WA38") and profitability ("Minneiska").
