Cold Chain Symposium ETH Zürich

In a symposium about various aspects of Cold chains and packaging technologies (Life cycle assessments, air-flow simulations, dynamic controlled atmosphere, artificial fruit sensors, smart packaging, etc.,) results of a two year trial with the aim to estimate the influence of the orchard management and the apple variety on the apple skin microbiome and the abundance of storage diseases were presented.
