Regarding to the incidence of insects, an increase in the presence of peach twig borer (Anarsia lineatella) and Oriental fruit moth (Cydia molesta) has been observed in stone fruit. Results of residues of active ingredients on fruits highlighted that 79% of stone fruit samples reached tree or less active ingredients. On pear 75% of samples showed tree or less active ingredients compared with 68 % of the samples coming from the standard orchards, while on apple 68% of samples showed four or less active ingredients compared with 50 % of the samples coming from standard orchards
