Güttinger-Tagung (demonstration day on experimental field station)

Around 250 fruit producers and interested parties came to the annual conference Güttinger-Tagung 2018. The speakers convinced with exciting presentations: Sarah Perren (Agroscope) informed about sustainable fungicide strategies, Barbara Egger (Agroscope) and David Szalatnay (Strickhof) presented new pests in fruit production. Visitors could also inform themselves about new developments such as the mulching robot for fruit production. The Güttinger-Tagung was also a social occasion with the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from the industry.
At the stands interested visitors could find out more about the following topics:
- Wild bees (Wildbiene und Partner)
- Juices and cider of fire blight, scab and mildew tolerant varieties (Agroscope, BEVOG III project)
- Pheromone for sexual confusion of codling moth in pome fruit, apricot and walnut (steel, Check-Mate)
- Activities of the Interreg project "Low-residue fruit production" at the Wädenswil site (Agroscope)
- Together against fire blight
