Fruit Technical Consultant meeting 16th March 2017

Technical Consultants Committee is a working group for the sustainable production of apples and pears of the Girona fruit area. These are quinzenal sessions organized by the IRTA Mas Badia where technical consultants from different entities public and private attend. Is an exchange of information between researchers and technicians, dealing with problems that arise during the season and consider solutions in the short and long term. This is culminated by initiating a research activity and / or a common action for the entire fruit region. In some of them (above detailed dates) attendants devote time to update the Fruit.Net programme at the beginning of the season, do comments about the incidences of the pests and diseases and do modifications in the control strategies (mid-season) if necessary, and finally summarize the results according to the features of the obtained production.
