Variety breeding and testing of sweet cherries in Koblenz
Researchers from the working group berries and stone fruit of the Laimburg Research Centre visited the nursery Gräb in Coblenz, Germany. The nursery works mainly with cherries and to some extend also with apricots, plums and peaches. Mr. Gräb uses for most of the cherry trees the rootstock Gisela 5, for Regina he uses Gisela 3.
