Storage recommendations for pome fruit

At harvest peaks in berry production, price pressure due to an oversupply of goods compared to market demand often requires storage for a couple of days. Strawberries and raspberries are particularly susceptible to spoilage after harvesting, so we use this publication to make some recommendations for their storage. In addition, first results of storage trials on the new pear CH201 with its promising storage potential are presented.
