4th Technical Symposi de Producció Agroalimentària Ecològica. Manresa. 17-18 November, 2016

This annual one day duration International Symposium organized and coordinated by the Department of Agriculture (DARP) of Generalitat de Catalunya has as the main objective to bridge and interchange the information between the institutes of research of different European countries and the industry of fruits and vegetables. The main innovations on cultivars/rootstocks with tolerance to the main pest/diseases/replantation were exposed in particular the results obtained at IRTA with the new rootstocks and new scab resistant apples and pears. Also the current development of new strategies to control the main pests and diseases (chemical compounds, technology of production, prophylaxis, new varieties and rootstocks) were presented.
