Workshop on Precision Irrigation (Organized by the "FIGARO" EU project)

Prof. Adriano Battilani presented the activities and results of the precision irrigation platform developed by the FIGARO project at the EU Pavilion, EXPO 2015, as part of special European dissemination workshop that included presentations of six selected EU-funded projects addressing water scarcity and water-use in crop production.

Prof. Battilani, a senior researcher at the Canale Emiliano Romagnolo (CER) in Bologna, Italy, is a partner at the EU-funded FIGARO (Flexible and Precise Irrigation Platform to Improve Farm Scale Water Productivity) project.
