Extreme weather conditions: a brainstorming on risk managment

On 23 rd of June 2016, an exceptional storm took place in the major fruit production region in Belgiium causing a lot of wind, rain and hail damage on fruit, fruit plantations and infrastructure. A discussion was organised by the province of Limburgwith various stakeholders to exchange ideas on what can be done to avoid such high catastrophic impacts and how the financial consequences could be lowered.
