The eating habits of people change over time. This applies also to the consumption of apples. Constantly, new, high quality, environmentally friendly products are requested. What are the new trends in the consumption of apples, how does the breeding of new varieties work? Dr. Walter Guerra, head of the Institute for Fruit Growing and Viticulture of Laimburg Research Centre, tackles these questions in this interview, braodcasted in German language by the radio station Teleradio Vinschgau.
