Forecast storage quality

An overview to be used at the start of the storage season 2016/17 of several varieties for apple (Elstar, Jonagold, Golden Delicious and Boskoop) and pear (Conference and Doyenné du Comice). Based on the conditions during the growing season, the expected storage quality and possible storage diseases are discussed and compared with last season. Suggestions for storage conditions are given.
