Agritech DCA Storage of apples growers day

An Agritech Catalyst project in the UK was supported jointly by government and commercial funding to develop the SafePod (manufactured by Storage Control Systems Ltd) as a technology to optimise long-term storage of apples. The project was run as a collaboration between SCS ltd, AC Goathams and son, Avalon, University of Greenwich. With the project in its third year, a workshop was held to present the technology to UK growers and to discuss how they might use the technology to support their own storage needs.
