Apple-scab is an eminent fungi, even low infestations can cause high economic losses. To avoid damages caused by apple scab it is important to protect the orchard during the spread of ascospores. The new prediction model: “VMVenturia” simulates potential infection times with a higher precision to make an adequate plant-protection in the right moment.
