Interfactory comparative 2016-2016

Fruit farms of the lower elbe region had to bear
an unsatisfactory economic situation over a period
of three years. For some of these companies,
this constellation leads to a crisis that must be
overcome. After the worst season 2014/2015
with only a pro# t of approximately € 48,000,
the pro# t increased by € 20,000 to € 69,804 in
2015/2016, but did not bring any signi# cant # -
nancial relief. A low producer price was again the
reason for the below-average operating result
in 2015/2016. Two factors were responsible for
that:: The lack of good quality of a too large proportion
of the fruits and the competitive situation
on the market. Jonagored could hardly be
sold as tableware. Thus this variety develops to
a problematic variety of the lower elbe region.
