The EUFRUIT Knowledge Platform is part of a European thematic network of 21 partners including research institutes, universities and industrial partners who represent keyparts of the fruit supply chain from 12 countries.

The European Fruit Network (EUFRUIT) - Knowledge Platform

EUFRUIT Knowledge Platform is an international open access database of electronic documents related to productivity, sustainability and quality of fruit in the European fruit sector. New knowledge on fruit research and best practice approaches at a European level are available in the database. It is possible to search for information in a specific language.

Focuses are on four thematic areas of critical importance to competitiveness and innovation potential of the European fruit sector:

LRCAF-WP4-15 Exhibit "Rinkis prekę lietuvišką" Participation in industry event or exhibit - Fruit quality; improvement of fruit handling/storage Processed fruit products of IH-LRCAF were presented in exhibition "Rinkis prekę lietuvišką". One product was awarded gold medal.

LRCAF-WP4-10 Novelties in Fruit processing Participation in scientific conference - Fruit quality; improvement of fruit handling/storage 10th International conference “The Vital Nature Sign”, May 19-20, 2016. During the conference, research results were presented in the fields: Analysis and Separation Science, Energy and Environment and Natural Products.
LRCAF-WP4-09 Novelties in Fruit production system Participation in dialogue meeting (policy) - Fruit quality; improvement of fruit handling/storage Meeting with representatives of Ministry for Agriculture of Lithuanian Republic. Legislation on fruid production and quality assurance was discussed.
LRCAF-WP4-02 Inovative products from fruits Organising/holding event aimed at general public - Fruit quality; improvement of fruit handling/storage Event was aimed at general public. Novelties in raspberry processing, consumption and storage were presented.
LRCAF-WP4-07 Novelties in consulting for orchard growers Organising/holding industry group meeting/event - Fruit quality; improvement of fruit handling/storage Meeting with orchard growers and representatives of government. Representatives of Ministry of Agriculture presented new requirements regarding orchard plant growing, integrated plant protection.
